Can't enter Realm with cellular data; requires WiFi

Before the recent update, I was able to access my friend's Realm with cellular data. Now, even with cellular data turned on, it says that I need to be connected to WiFi in order to access it. Is this a new change or a glitch? It would be a lot more convenient if I could connect using my data and not have to rely on a WiFi connection.
