Dogs go invisible when their minecart is broken

If a dog is sitting in a minecart and the player breaks the minecart, the dog becomes invisible. It still attacks enemy mobs but I'm not able to feed them as best as I can tell, as the "eat" ZL command never becomes a "feed" ZL command when searching the areas they are attacking while holding meat.
