Huge amounts of Lag in the 1.16.00 update

Ever since the 1.16 update came out it has been incredibly laggy. Blocks seem to lag when mined (never happened to me before the update) mobs, mostly villagers are laggy when walking. Mobs animations fail, and they glide.
