Why is it not working?

How come I can't play multi-player using my mobile data like I use to? Ever since I got the update for 1.16.100 on PE, I couldn't join any of my friends using my mobile data, I use to do this with my mobile data all the time. I am logged in my Microsoft account and I just wish to find out how to get my game back to normal and play with my friends.
