Can no longer access realms and servers using cellular data after 1.16.100

Before 1.16.100 I could use cellular data to access realms and servers. (I have no access to WiFi so data is the only option) but now whenever I try to go on a realm or server it says " You need wifi in order to play with friends" which is the first time I've ever been promptd with that.
