When launching the Microsoft Store, Minecraft only updates to the beta, not the latest version regardless if im signed up for the beta in insider hub

When i open up the Microsoft store and press update, it just updates to the beta. NOT the latest version regardless if im rolled or unenrolled in the beta. please help.
