Server needing wifi to join instead of being able to use mobile data

I’m trying to join servers and friends but Minecraft says I need wifi and it didn’t do this before the update 1.16.100 I use mobile data and wifi doesn’t reach out where I live and it makes me very upset to know I can’t join my favorite servers.
