No internet connection error then game crashes

I updated my game about an hour ago then I tried going into my world so I could play with my brother but got an internet connection error then my game crashed although sometimes it doesn't crash. I tried it a few times and the same thing happened. I tried the game on single player mode and it opened my world but I wanted to play with my brother so that wouldn't be helpful. My internet connection is not the problem or I would not be able to send this so I think it may be a bug on the app. I thought maybe it would work if I deleted the app and re downloaded it, but the same thing happened so I'm not sure what to do. I can't add an attachment because the file is too large but I can send one through an e-mail if needed.
