Villagers slide sideways out of bed, disappear

After hotfix 1.16.100, villagers go to sleep then slide sideways across the room, through the walls and disappear. I have reloaded several backups and always get the same results.

I will upload a video when I get it moved over to this device.

I spent a lot of time curing villagers and leveling them up.
