Loading Screen Stuck

Please tell me why there has been the issue of getting stuck on the “Mojang Studios” screen for months now with fix in sight. I haven’t been able to play Minecraft for months because the game will not start up. It just keeps getting stuck on the loading screen forever and doesn’t do anything. PLEASE HELP OR FIX THIS PROBLEM!
