Minecraft RTX can't see any textures/blocks

If I try to run Minecraft RTX at 160mhz @ 3840x1600 on a RTX 3090 and 38" LG Ultrawide I get a black screen.  I can see effects (bubbles underwater) but everything else is black.  When I turn the monitor down to 144mhz everything displays correctly.
