Render Distance is set to 8 chunks after opening settings

When opening the settings menu the render distance is set to 8 chunks, and can only be reset manually
Steps to reproduce

• Open the settings
• Set a render distance higher than 8 chunks
• Close the menus
• Reopen the settings menu
