Mobs/Entities are becoming invisible

Today I have experienced a bug that makes an entity invisible. I was attacked by a Stray, but when I tried to hit him he disappeared. He still was able to shoot me. And also, 10 minutes before my boat became invisible too. Sorry for my bad english.
