Bluetooth keyboard and mouse not working.

Keyboard and mouse don't seem to work whatsoever other than in the chat and clicking the touch buttons. I'm using Bluetooth for both the keyboard and mouse. I have tried all combinations I can think of to get the keyboard And mouse as the controller. It is also not automatically making it the controller, if that is suppose to happen.
