When I try to launch Minecraft, it shows the red Mojang screen and then crashes

When I try to start Minecraft on my iphone, it just shows the red mojang screen and then it just crashes. I have tried removing the app, offloading the app, reinstalling, restarting the iphone and the problem is still the same.  I have also noticed that there are no files for Minecraft when I look in Files app while my daughter's phone shows some files.
