Attacked by invisible mob

Hi, since the last update I am randomly (not often) getting attacked by an invisible mob. The other mobs are visible, just appears to be one that attacks, and it only seems to happen when I'm in a cave? It makes no sound either so you don't know it's there and when you run away it follows you if you don't run far enough (i.e. out of said cave)!
