Perpetual Daytime

I created my first world, no problems. I changed the FOV and turned off bobbing, otherwise all are defaults, Survival mode

I created my second world, same settings as the first world, FOV changed, no bobbing, survival mode. In playing this world, I adjusted the sensitivity down to as far left as it would go.
In this second world, I have no night time. The sun stays in the middle of the sky as if mid day and doesn't move.

I have not been able to recreate this.
