Invite Not Working On Pocket Edition

When I invite my friends to join my world via invites, they don't even receive the notification for joining. Their online security settings are also fine and notifications for minecraft are also on. But still they don't receive the notifications. However, we can join world's if they are NOT invite-only. This makes playing an invite only multiplayer world impossible.
