I walked in my nether portal for .5 a second and now i cant open anything, chest furnaces or even my inventory

I was walking though my temporary base, i have a nether portal in the middle. I was in the nether portal for half a sec and tried to open my chest. My chest open but i have no option to interact with it i try furnaces nothing i try my other chests they just open but no menu to interact with
