shulker box bug

I was playing co-op with my brother and if one of us placed a shulker box and the other one was dropping something or opening inventory the game crashed. But the weird thing about it was that i lost the shulker box, and second time it happened i lost all things in my inventory. Please Mojang fix this i dont want to start every week a new survival world.
