Grey bed screen

I went to sleep then I restarted the app and then when I open it back up and open the world I'm on the bed screen but the background is grey and when I press 'Leave bed' or 'Open chat' or tap anywhere on the screen my Minecraft crashes. Please help this survival world took really long.
