FPS dropping when using obs

okay i get about 220 fps without obs and i am only getting 20fps with using obs is there a problem/bug thats causing it
Specs:
16Gb
GeForce Graphics cards
Intel i7 cpu
Motherboard: a gaming one i dont remember
