lost of world

I don't know how but i logged in and my world wasn't there. I've been working on it for several months and now its just gone. i love playing minecraft but i quit because of this. im not happy at all im really pissed that all that hard work for nothing. and now theres a new update and i have no point of playing if i dont have my world
