Problems with Multi-Play

I play multi-play between PS4 and PC (Windows 10), the former being my friend and the latter being me.
If my friend is a host, I can play multi-play without any problems, but if I am a host, my friend will not be able to move on from the "Generating World" screen and will not be able to enter my world.
