Placing a boat on a bed and riding it makes it jump high

I was messing around in my creative world, and i was thinking. "Does riding a boat on a bed makes you faster or slower?". So, i test it. What i expected is for the boat becomes slower when i ride it in a bed, but the boat just go jumping or go of into the air with me on it. I was confused. then i tested again with 2 beds, The boat jumps higher than before. After that i think to myself "does it affected the jump if the amount of beds is bigger". Then i tried 3 beds, and the boat jump is higher than the 2 beds. After that it tried 4 beds, but the boat jump the same hight as the 3 beds. Then the limits must be 3 beds because the 4 beds hight is the same as the 3 beds. Then i realised this must be a bug because boats and bed wouldnt normaly do that, so i type this forum, i cant put the full video proof because the file is to big, but i can put the half ¼ duration of it =
