resource behaviour pack error - education toggle error

Opening chat I get the message "At least one of your resource or behaviour packs failed to load". I only have the default packs and I have uninstalled the 2 I had used but this doesn't solve this.

 

I am unable to run code connect within minecarft bedrock, having done and wanting to do more coding with my son after he enjoy this as part of the microsoft summers schools. I am guessing the 2 issues maybe connected.
