Archer Achievement not popping up on ps4

So the past couple of weeks i've been trying to get platinum on minecraft in achievements. I've done every single achievement except Archer. This achievement asks you to kill a creeper with an arrow so that what i did i made a bow killed a creeper and the achievement won't pop up i've tried everything even re-installing i also looked it up on youtube and a lot of other ps4 players are having the same issue. Please patch this. Thank you
