Minecraft won't ask me to download resource pack when the world I'm joining requires everyone to download it.

Hi, I recently made a resource pack and my cousin is using it in her own world. I tried joining her world, which was successful, but it never asked me to download the pack even when my cousin enabled "require resource pack(s) to anyone joining." I tried joining with my iPhone 7 (iOS 14, MCBEversion 1.16.50), and my Nintendo Switch (10.2.0, MCBEversion 1.16.40), and both worked fine. I want to know if it's a bug within Xbox, and how to resolve it.
