It says that I can’t do anything multiplayer, as if I had a child account (I don’t)

It keeps saying that my Microsoft account makes it so I can’t play with anyone via multiplayer, but I 1) am not a child 2) don’t have a child account and 3) all my settings make sure that I can do these things. I don’t know if this is actually a bug, but it surely seems like one.
