Since I updated my ps4 to your new update on Minecraft I keep losing items and it freezes and I get killed

I lost all my stuff and got thrown  from the game losing all my obsidian my diamond and all the items I created my gold. everything!!!! This new update lags and something in it is not working! PLEASE FIX! I NEED MY DIAMONDS AND GOLD
