Unable to open Anvils, Furnace, Enchanting and Brewing tables in creative

As of 0.12.1 build 9, I am no longer able to open/use Anvils, Furnace, Enchanting and Brewing tables in creative. Is there something I am not understanding about the upcoming features? According to what it says here. They can now be opened/used in creative mode.
