I can't take my sword out of my hot bar (creative mode)

I enchanted a diamond word with smite 1 but when I tried to move it in my inventory i couldn't pick it up I tried to quick move it got the animation but the sword was still in the middle of my hot bar I tried to select it it became bigger for a split second but I couldn't move it

when I select it after using touchscreen it produces a black block that goes into the block select area never to be seen again I tried moving it with touchscreen and I got the border but when I touched another slot it didn't move 

everything else worked fine and I can select a different place in the hotbar if I exit my inventory but when I go back on I still can't move it

side note it looks like an iron sword in the quick move animation 

this bug doesn't annoy me too much because I am on creative but if this was survival I would be mad

Edit: I just tried to remove it didn’t work
