Cannot craft fences, and watermelon seeds have a weird name

So, for some reason I'm not able to craft fences, even though I have enough woodplanks for them, neither do they show up on the crafting table. And the watermelon seeds have a weird name, which is their file name (So it will say their file name instead of just "watermelon seeds").
