Inability to eat, Trip wire bug.

Today I loaded up my world and found that I cannot consume food. Not further explanation needed. I can use my LT for everything else but eating. I also found my temples trip wires did not trigger the redstone to activate. I am a skilled redstoner and know very well it works. It has in the past but mow it doesnt work at all. Please fix.
