walking sticking and nothing else responds

so basically what happens is i'm walking normally and the game freezes for a second and then the game stops responding but any game input like walking or jumping i was preforming at that moment repeats for 3-10 seconds and has caused me many deaths and a nice heeping spoon of anxiety when i'm walking towards a lava pit and can't do anything but watch all my stuff burn. also i didn't understand the Affects Version/s section so i guessed sorry if that's important
