I am not able to get the archer achievement no matter how many creepers I kill with a bow and arrow.

I have been trying to get the archer achievement on Minecraft PS4 for a while now, no matter how many creepers I kill with a bow and arrow I can't get the achievement. I checked the Minecraft discord and it appears a lot of other people are having this issue :/.
