Summary:

Many high tier androids are experiencing a critical bug that causes them to inaccurately report their RAM meaning many high tier android devices are unable to see our Midtier greylisted maps.

Impact:

Customers with high-tier phones are unable to find and purchase our mid-tier greylisted content from the marketplace.

Repro Steps:

On an Android phone with High-Tier specs search for any Mid-tier greylisted content (I.E The Enderman Heist)

If you own the content it will show up as incompatible with this device.
If you do not own the content it will not show up for you due to compatibility issues.

This is NOT reproducible on all Android High-Tier phones.

Observed Results:

On the Xiaomi Mi Mix (which is a high-tier official QA testing device) everything showed up fine.

I was able to find a mid-tier greylisted item and it was not greyed out.

On the LG G8X (which is my personal device and not a recognised QA testing

device) the greylisting is apparent and makes everything that is mid-tier greylisted show up as greylisted and finding the same map (The Enderman Heist) on this device is impossible.

After signing in to a different account that owns the mid-tier greylisted content it shows up as greylisted.

Expected Results:

No Mid-tier greylistings on High-tier devices.

Unknown we think it might be 1.13.

Notes:

When testing mid-tier greylisting results on various high-tier devices we found that we are still getting very different results.

These tests were performed on the LG G8X and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.

As you can see the specs provided below demonstrate how both devices fall into the same category and should show similar results.
