Entities with "minecraft:is_stackable" can push each other into and through full blocks
Partner Rank: 1
Partner Team Reporting: Noxcrew
Verification builds and Platforms: Minecraft - Release_2467959
Summary:
Entities with "minecraft:is_stackable" can push each other into and through full blocks. See video below. This method can be used to make pushable crates that the player can climb on to access higher areas, but when the box disappears into the wall it doesn't do them much good.
Impact:
Blocks an important game play feature for a high priority project.
Repro Steps:
1. Create a behavior pack
2. Create a basic entity, it helps visually if it's a basic cube
3. Give the player and the basic entity the "minecraft:is_stackable" component
4. Load the world and spawn the basic entity
5. Push the entity towards a 2 block high wall (any type of block)
6. Notice the entity seamlessly slides into the wall
Observed Results:
The entity (or sometimes even the player) is able to be pushed into the wall.
Expected Results:
The entity should properly collide with the wall, and as such will be recoverable by the player.
