Custom items fail to load correctly
Partner Rank:

Partner Team Reporting:
Gamemode One
Verification builds and Platforms:
1.12.0.6, Windows 10
Summary:
Custom items fail to load if a certain amount of items is reached. (Probably connected to an old limit to the vanilla item amount?)
Instead of loading them correctly, upon reaching a specific number of items, the next item overwrites the last one. The original item is no longer available inside the command suggestions and if you /give the new item, you will get the wrong item (original one).
Items above the suspected limit are registered inside the command auto-completions correctly but show up with an incorrect texture. Only the first overwritten item is not available.
Upon leaving the world and entering it again, the given item disappears.
Impact:
Ones items are out of experimental, content might potentially break if vanilla Minecraft adds new items. Add-on packs are not compatible with each other
Repro Steps:
- Download the attached add-on
- Start a new (creative) world and apply the downloaded behavior and resource pack
- Type the commands "/give @s zombie_wand", "/give @s ruby_<...>" and observe the result
Observed Results:
The player is given "garlic_soup". Upon leaving the world and entering it again, the given item disappears.
Expected Results:
The player receives a "zombie_wand"/whatever item should actually be loaded. The items should persist inside the player's inventory
Screenshots/Videos attached: Yes/No
No
Regression Builds:
No; new feature is not working correctly
Notes:
The attached behavior pack contains more items which are not loaded correctly. You can also try out other items to achieve the same result.
