[1.11] Items renamed in 1.11 don't stack with items renamed in R8 (at least in this instance?)

Summary:

In order to pass Lock D in the City Mash-up bank vault, you need to rename a piece of paper to "MAROON" (without quotes) and drop it in the hopper. This item would then be funneled into an item sorter which would then increase the redstone signal strength, opening the lock. I have encountered this issue in the past when developing this map but it seemed to stop occurring after publication. However, in R11, the issue seems to have returned. Now, when renaming the piece of paper and inserting it into the item sorter, the item gets stuck in the chest and does not get sorted because it doesn't stack with the piece of paper I renamed back when I created the map.

Impact:

City Mash-up is one of the top earners on the marketplace and based on our user feedback and observation, breaking into the Bank Vault seems to be the most popular activity in the map and the first thing people do when buying it. Users will be disappointed when the first thing they do is broken.

Repro Steps:

1. Download the content "City Mash-up" from the marketplace
2. Enable cheats
3. Open the world
4. Run the following command: /tp 1641 61 -582
5. Look inside the chest and take out a piece of paper.
6. Run the following command /xp 1L
7. Use the anvil to rename the piece of paper to

   MAROON

   a. Note that this is in all CAPS. No spaces or punctuation.

8. Place this piece of paper in the hopper next to the anvil.
9. This should result in the door opening but it does not. Observe the issue.
10. Follow the steps in the next section to get a better look at the issue.

Observed Results:

Lock does not open. Item does not stack. To get a better look at the issue, follow these steps after completing the steps above.

1. If you are in a "Release" build, press F2 to phase through the floor.
2. Look in the chest at 1638 58 -585
3. You should see your renamed piece of paper inside there. Pick it up and place it into your inventory.
4. Look in the hopper directly below this chest. You should see another piece of paper with the same name in the FIRST slot. Pick that paper up and place it into your inventory.
5. Attempt to combine the two identical items into a single stack. You will be unable to do so.

Expected Results:

Because papers have the same name, they should stack, which should then trigger the redstone to open the lock.

Notes:

I believe this might have something to do with items saving the Author of the renamed item. I could be wrong.
