Verification builds and Platforms:
1.10.0.0 Minecraft - Release_1591852 Win10
Summary:
Randomly, mobs will fail to load geometry resulting in invisible mobs.
Impact:
Many maps on the store will become exponentially more difficult with swarms of invisible mobs.
Repro Steps:
- Have experimental gameplay enabled
- Download a world from the marketplace, for example, "Extreme Snowman Speed Battle"
- Create the world.
Observed Results:
The issue with this bug is that it's intermittent. In some cases, text will appear on the screen stating the game was unable to find the geometry on a bunch of mobs. Sometimes it doesn't. But when it does, it will display text along the top saying it can't find the geometry. When that happens, the mobs listed will be invisible for the duration of the play session.
Expected Results:
When the geometry is there, Minecraft should be able to find it.

Notes:
I have replicated this on many worlds. The common theme between them all is that it seems to occur only on worlds where there is a resource pack added. That said, the resource packs don't have to have anything as far as geometry or mobs goes. For example, in Abstraction VECTOR, the only thing changed is the clouds, yet it was unable to find geometry for a bunch of mobs.
