Summary:
One of our addon creators uses Yaw.Speed in animation controllers with an entity which is controlled by a player (e.g. a vehicle) to make the vehicle tilt in the opposite direction when the player turns. If the yaw speed becomes too fast, no matter how much they tweak the values, it starts to glitch.
Impact:
This may delay the release of one of our maps.
Repro Steps:
(Step by step instructions to reproduce this bug)
- Add a new entity and make it rideable, similar to a horse
- Add an animation that changes the rotation / position of a bone
- Add an animation controller that activates the animation using a Yaw.Speed parameter
- Spawn the entity, ride it and move your head around.
Observed Results:
The animation (entity glitching in the opposite direction) will get more intense as the rotation speed of the entity you are riding gets faster.
Expected Results:
The entity shouldn't glitch.
