Repro Steps:

1. Create a new world.
2. change yourself to creative
3. get a sign and place it
4. start typing, then throw in a §r then more text

Observed Results:

The text after the §r on the UI is displaying as black. On the resulting sign however the text is white.

Expected Results:

The text in the UI should match the resulting sign.
