[BLOCKING] Nintendo Switch will not apply textures when world is hosted on another platform on Everbloom Mash-up
Verification builds:
Hosted on Windows 10 Release_1126522
Also tested hosting on Windows 10 1.6 Retail which at this time (according to in-game settings) is Build #1123587)
Using 1.6 retail on Nintendo Switch which at this time (according to in-game settings) is Build #1093192
(Untested hosting on other devices other than Windows 10)
Summary: Nintendo Switch prompts user to download the pack and join. The download screen appears and it successfully downloads (that can be seen in the "Storage" section in settings) however it does not display textures in the world. It does however seem to apply the mobs.json as in this pack we made the skeleton skull model slightly smaller. You can see it applied by placing a skeleton skull down.
Impact: Switch players cannot play worlds that require RPs when hosted by another user.
Repro Steps:
- Download world from Auger or Slack (This is the Everbloom Mash-up)
- Open the world on Windows 10.
- Connect to world using Nintendo Switch
- Push "Download and Join"
Observed Results:
Resource pack downloads but does not display textures. It does however seem to equip the mobs.json
Expected Results:
Resource pack downloads, equips, and properly displays the textures.
