Switch: System hangs up when applying a ResourcePack

Verification builds:

v1.5.0

Summary:
When applying a new resourcepack (especially when HD), the whole system hangs up, the throbber freeze, the whole app seems to not respond anymore and as soon as it responds again, a wrong system message pops up indicating there was an error with server/internet connection.
Impact:

Looks like the game is crashing by not responding anymore.

Repro Steps:

1. Starts with Vanilla assets
2. Select PureBDcraft and apply
3. Go back to menu

Observed Results:
The whole app seems to not respond anymore and as soon as it responds again, a wrong system message pops up indicating there was an error with server/internet connection.

Expected Results:

The throbber should keep being animated and no message should pop up after RP has finished loading.
