Ticking areas cause massive lag in locator maps

Summary: After creating any ticking area, the refresh rate of player location on a locator map becomes significantly slower
Repro Steps:
Create a new world- Generate a locator map and fly around, notice the speed at which the arrow matches your player location.
- Create a one-chunk circular ticking area
- Hold previously generated locator map (or a new one), fly around and notice the speed at which the arrow matches your player location.
Observed Results: After generating a ticking area, player location in the locator map becomes delayed by several seconds. Another creator claims their locator map never updates after creating any ticking area, but I was not able to reproduce that behavior.
Expected Results: Locator map updates at a consistent refresh rate.
