Glass flickers when other glass is behind it

Summary:
Glass blocks behind other glass blocks appear to flicker between showing the glass closest and glass behind it
Impact:
Produces a unpleasant rendering visual affecting the player's experience.
Repro Steps:
- Load mcworld of Elf Patrol, obtained from Quinn or Greg
- Place the three "batteries" within the Dropper, the purple block with a yellow lightening bolt, in front of the player (example is attached)
- Move back about 10 blocks and observe the glass block structures being spawned in
Observed Results:
Glass is rendered incorrectly. Glass further away can be seen through the closest glass
Expected Results:
The glass texture should always render the glass closest to the player
