Summary: Pasting format characters (e.g., "§e") into the command block UI causes text input issues, including caret misplacement and inability to delete formatting characters.
Affects currently Live Content: No
Impact: Pasting format characters into command block text fields breaks input, preventing users from deleting characters, navigating with arrow keys, and causing caret misalignment. This significantly disrupts usage of command blocks.
Repro Steps:
- Copy the format character "§e" to the clipboard.
- Open the command block UI.
- Paste "§e" into the command field.
- Attempt to delete the format characters or navigate with the arrow keys.
Observed Results: The caret position is incorrect, and formatting characters cannot be deleted. Arrow key navigation also fails. The only workaround is to switch fields and return to the command block field.
Expected Results: The format characters should paste correctly, and users should be able to delete them and navigate through the text using the arrow keys without issues.
