Impact:
Dear Mojang,
We've encountered a recurring issue that's impacting our experience and potentially affecting our presence in the Marketplace. This problem not only affects creators like us but also the broader player base. When a player tabs out and returns after a while, facing such connectivity issues can be immensely frustrating. The need to reload the entire game can deter them from continuing, leading them to consider other gaming options. Over time, this can result in a gradual loss of interest in Minecraft, which is concerning for both us as content creators and for the Minecraft community as a whole. Addressing this would undoubtedly uplift the Marketplace experience for many and ensure sustained player engagement, Kristina mentioned previously to creators that she wants to evolve the Marketplace. The goal should be to focus on issues like this that affect the user experience negatively.
Repro Steps:
1. Launch Minecraft and tab out of the game.
2. Let the game remain tabbed out for about 24 hours.
3. Return to the game and attempt to access the Marketplace.
4. Click on any Marketplace thumbnail.
Note: These steps don't guarantee the issue's occurrence every time, but it's frequent enough to raise significant concern.
Repro Rate: This issue has manifested multiple times over recent months, though not consistently.
Observed Results:
Upon returning to the game after extended periods of being tabbed out meaning minimized and the game refreshes with a loading bar, we often find ourselves unable to reconnect to the Marketplace. The only consistent remedy has been a game reload, which isn't ideal. This issue spans various devices and platforms.
Expected Results:
A smooth and uninterrupted return to the Marketplace post-tabbing, without any connectivity hitches affecting gameplay and marketplace connections.
Screenshots / Videos Attached: Yes (Multiple instances of this issue have been captured over time in both screenshot and gif format.) I've included videos and screenshots in a package for this. And submitted them via a Ticket from Greg our partner manager, due to privacy concerns.
Regression Builds: The issue has been persistent from version 1.19.40 to 1.20.12.

- This isn't an isolated incident; it's been observed across a range of devices and platforms.
- We've explored potential solutions, from clearing the marketplace cache to a fresh game reinstall, but they haven't resolved the issue.
- The issue has also been a topic of discussion in community forums, including the Minecraft Discord and the community Addons Discord.
