Attachables (armors) with several geometries/textures are bugged on mobile and console.
Partner Rank: 2
Partner Team Reporting: Odd Block
Verification builds: 1.19.50
Summary:
Attachables (armors) containing several geometries, textures and render controllers are broken on some platform (Xbox serie S, mobile devices such as Ipad)
Impact:
It prevent the release of an update adding gameplay informations (Armors had to be invisible until the release of attachables since entities' geometries are too different from vanilla humanoid geometry). This funtionality had to be quickly removed from the resource pack as the bug make it barely playable.
Players are not happy that armors will not be in the update anymore, especially on pc and PS4 since armors seem to work on these platform.
Repro Steps:
- Install Minecraft 1.19.50 on Xbox One Series S or a mobile device (Ipad for example)
- Download and Install BIOHAZARD on the marketplace
- Activate the pack in the menu settings
- Launch a world
- Spawn a skeleton, zombies, husk or stray
Observed Results:
These entities render incorrectly. The entity geometry is not visible, an armor part can be visible but with the entity's texture, not the armor's texture.
For example in attachments :
Skeleton : Invisible geometry, armor pant with skeleton texture.
Husk : Invisible geometry, chestplate geometry with husk texture.
Stray; Invisible geometry, helmet armor with stray texture.
Expected Results:
Entity geometry is visible with the matching entity texture.
Armor geometry is visible with the matching armor's texture when used by the entity.

Notes:
It's difficult to document further the bug since all informations are coming from players who own devices I don't have. I have none of this issue on my computers and the update passed the certification without warning, which make it almost impossible to fix by myself.
I don't know if this bug occurs only when an entity wear an armor or if it always happens.
I'm available to share attachables and render controllers files if it can help.
